Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

I'm not a fan of this. I'm very disconnected and feel like I can't be myself here. My job is monotonous every single day and there's no other positions to take. Stuck in a rut of this type of job isn't good for anyone. You need to invest into mental health days for your employees as well!

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They seem to have a good work dynamic and relationship amongst them.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

There's no culture here. There's no incentives unless you're in sales. There's no real reason to come to work--it's not enjoyable.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

We need younger, more diverse employees who don't have the same exact mindset as the 90% of employees already at this company.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

It's moreso me needing to find a new job in a new company for me to be happy everyday. I dread coming to work.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

I personally don't relate to anyone here in Michigan. I spend most of my days in silence which is mentally detrimental to one's work ethic.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

We don't have a lot of young people who work here to connect with. I'm one of the youngest people in the building at 30 years old.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

We don't really know one another and maybe that's just what happens. This bank is definitely less diverse and intermixed than my previous employer who thrived on the culture of their employees.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation has NOT been updated in years; the market and economy is increasingly rising with no salary match. I personally don't make enough to cover my bills. It's sad to see such a 'billion dollar bank' be so incredibly cheap to their employees. Our benefits are horrendously expensive.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

There is a HUGE lack of diversity in this company both internally and externally. Lots of people are disconnected with one another and leadership seems to only care about the numbers and how to make themselves look the best. There needs to be more/better communication from the execs to our managers.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

There are no incentives to work here, at least in Michigan. No bonuses (which is a concern), no catered food, no events, no community service events, no competitive wages, no employee appreciation events, nothing that makes me want to stay here. I feel like I am in a locked cage every day.
