My overall experience at my company has been a good one. There have been many challenges and it is essential that you learn and pick up on things quickly working at a bank, but I like how there are many resources I can use if I ever have any questions. I also know who to reach out to for anything.
What makes you most happy at work?
The opportunity to win incentives and extra cash from referrals, challenges, and credit cards is what makes me most happy at work.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Some of the best things about my team is the diversity. There is a variety of cultures and ages which makes it interesting for me to learn about and talk to people who come from a different culture and age group.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
What I like best about the leadership team here at first merchants bank is that they always make me feel welcomed and cared for. They always find ways and opportunities for employees to be able to participate in different things to win prizes.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
A pay raise would make me feel better about my compensation. There is a lot to learn at the bank and sometimes I don't think that the pay is enough for everything that we do every day. Which makes me want to find opportunities outside the bank rather than stay.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The most positive thing about the environment at my company is the people I work with because we are always there to help each other. If a situation comes up with a customer and the person helping them isn't sure how to solve the problem, we work together as a team to be able to help every customer.
