I have been with FMB for 1.5 years now, and it has been an overall good experience. It took me some time to learn everything and know how best to handle certain situations, but relying on my manager and my team, I am confident in my abilities to help my customers and it makes me want to come to work
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is highly communicative and works together well. It's a welcoming environment that makes me want to come into work and help my team.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Communicative, supportive, and works as a fantastic team. The leadership team is constantly reaching out and finding ways to support all aspects of the company as a whole.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
For Service Associates in particular, I feel like there is a fair amount that is expected of us, and I feel that we should be compensated accordingly for all that is asked of us.
What makes you most happy at work?
The thing I enjoy the most about working for First Merchants is my ability to reach people and help them with whatever they need. I do whatever I can to help them while they are in the branch and do my best to not have to send them away.
