I love my branch specifically but am not completely satisfied with the with the morals and treatment from the bank as a whole. Upper management makes anyone below a manager feel unimportant and incompetent. I feel like they think SA's and CRR's are dumb, truthfully. My manager makes me feel valued.
What makes you most happy at work?
Having amazing coworkers who I get along with very well.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all get a long very well and help each other whenever we can. I love my team.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The smaller bank relationship we have with our customers. Theres a lot of regulars and the clients love coming in to see us.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The bonus structure was changed and now we are making far less for meeting or exceeding our goals and that makes us not want to try.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The consistent pressure and hounding to get loans is very stressful. It feels like a line of ethics is being crossed because FMB would rather get loan dollars instead of doing what's best for the customer.
