Sensyne Health is a UK clinical AI company which accelerates the research, discovery and development of new medicines. Our mission is to improve patient care through the analysis of real-world evidence, using large databases of anonymised patient data in collaboration with health systems such as the NHS. In healthcare, Sensyne delivers remote patient monitoring and real time decision making systems for healthcare organisations and their patients. I enjoy my work at Sensyne, but I think there are deep problems with the management team and practices. Although it is a small company, senior managers have almost no contact with ordinary employees. Projects are not prioritised. C-levels meddle in details rather than give vision or strategy.
What makes you most happy at work?
Building great software in a dynamic environment.

They seem friendly on the few calls they arrange and attend.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The engineering team is great at helping each other, providing advice and assistance, and sharing information.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I think my salary is competitive, though the lack of transparency makes it hard to know if it is fair.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Strong focus on improving engineering practices. People value social interactions and spend time working on improving team harmony - i.e. people don't only focus on a narrow definition of work.
