The people are kind and non-vindictive. No one is getting ahead on someone's else's back and the other managers seem to value and recognition employee contributions without being prompted by others to do so.

Our leadership is truly invested in us and it is very apparent in the onboarding process. The level of training involved is like no other. Our managers are supportive and offer guidance, but never thwart our own personal development. I also love that they love change and opportunity for improvement.

What makes you most happy at work?

I love the work I do. I love the autonomy provided to me to be creative when trying to create new processes for efficiency. My coworkers are very light-hearted and fun to be around. I look forward to the days in office to interact with coworkers outside of my team.

Working with my team is the highlight of my days. I learn from them daily. Each member of my team is so supportive and truly invested in onboarding me as their new project manager. I even look forward to calls with my managers and appreciate their guidance as it will always be constructive.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I took a large pay cut to come to this company and have not been able to get market value for my position since joining in 2021. I've been trying to get to Senior level and my work has been praised. If I were a white man, my promotion would not be a second thought.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I took a demotion/lower pay to come to SPS. I worked w/ a male at another company, also now hired @ SPS, for more $ and a Senior role. I was told I wasn't eligible, yet I meet all written SPS criteria. I have more education, credentials and experience than my male counterpart; but a woman and Asian.
