Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

Great people. You have to fight to get timely answers and help. Some bosses are great at positive reinforcement, others not so much. Underpaid and raises are too low. Nice swag but we'd rather take a raise or better pay. Growth Summit should not be so long where we are locked in. Waste of money.

Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

Morale is so low because of pay and the raises here. The raises last year were just a percentage lower than half of the inflation rate for instance. Negotiations in pay when moving into a new role are always met with resistance. There are no sanitary products in the women's bathrooms too.

Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

The emphasis on coming into the office for quarterly meetings should not happen. No one cares and it is taking away from work time. People don't like Growth Summit either. It aggravates people that they have to sit through a half work day to see growth in the company that is not shared.

Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

Great onboarding. I felt invested in because of it. Any job in support is tough and too busy, but I appreciated that most of our team's issues were solved because management vouched for us. Loved the food and nice rewards. Analytics gets a good rep, but there is too much mystery around it at the org

When my coworkers can make light of problematic situations and advocate for each other.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I've noticed holding onto the culture more through virtual wellness groups that SPS offers and in office interactions.

What makes you most happy at work?

I am doing what I love. I enjoy my team. I am getting recognition from customers. My coworkers are supportive and fun.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The mindfulness slack channel, all the other fun slack channels, when we go out for lunch as a team when people come in from out of town. Team outings.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They are approachable, live the company values, they are excited about our mission. Love that when you start at the company and finish the training you get to meet the executives.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

My raises are just slightly less than half of the inflation rate each year. I cannot afford to submit enough in my retirement fund to meet the company match anymore just so I can pay my bills.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Having a hybrid work model. When employees go above and beyond to help each other succeed. SPS walks the walk when it comes to encouraging you to figure out where you fit within SPS and pursing your career here.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The pay grade ratings when applying for internal positions are apparently large "unknown" ranges & makes it too open to interpretation. Glassdoor salaries for a position at the company (5-50% higher) & in the state (20% higher) end up being much higher than what is offered w/little-to-no negotiation

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Love the lunch stipends and parking stipends, free bubly water and coffee to encourage us to come into the office. The people make this place what it is so not coming into the office actually kills the dynamic and makes people starting new positions or roles feel stuck and alone.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Team bonding outings, Foodsby credits, free food in the office, SPS clothing/shoes/SWAG, managers trust their employees, as a new hire, I felt INVESTED in with the month long training we received. No other company does it like SPS when it comes to onboarding and that's why they don't scale like us!

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Raises are so small that we hardly see an increase in paycheck. I have realized over the years that I should not try to go above and beyond each year I start a new role because I will never get above Meets Expectations so I will not get much of a raise.

What makes you most happy at work?

Feeling supported and that I can get help from coworkers in a timely manner. Not a day or week later. Being appreciated. People sharing their lives, fun things they are doing so we feel more connected as a team. Being encouraged by my manager to continue doing the work I enjoy. Raises and bonuses.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

United Healthcare has been horrible. They tell me a doctor is in network, but then I find out later that they are not "premium care" so I get hit with two bills for them that were way higher than expected. Any appeals get rejected. I just can't go to appointments anymore it's too costly.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Everyday I feel like my accomplishments and work I do is never enough. There's always more. I hang onto ANY positive reinforcement or acknowledgement that comes from a manager - It comes once in a blue moon! - to remind myself that I am valued. It's terrible feeling like you never do enough work.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I should be paid more than double my salary according to Glassdoor. The ratings I looked at were both very similar in Minneapolis and for the role within SPS. When I challenged it, I was told you can't trust reviews on Glassdoor. I was also lied to about the highest salary in my previous role.

What makes you most happy at work?

I get to do what I love every day because I had managers that were interested in what I had to say and where I wanted to go. My coworkers truly care and I enjoy being around each day. I get to delight customers and make their lives easier. I get to use my talents and strengths in my job!
