My time at SPS has been good overall. I feel that people have chipped in to help out with my development. I feel that management is good, and I really like the people I work with. Overall, it is a good place to work and I am happy I started my career here.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Great team dynamics, everyone participates, lots of collaboration.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Always giving the employees flexibility and preaching mental health and wellbeing.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are all very intelligent people that reiterate the company's vision for success in a likeable manner.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think SPS pays quite a bit lower than the industry standard. Most of my friends doing similar work make at least 10% more than me. The benefits are good, the flexibility is good, but the pay is subpar.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Work is fine, but making 60k when I have been here for 3 years is a bit frustrating. There is a lot of opportunity at SPS, but the increases in pay are very minimal as you climb up the ladder.
