This company doesn't have a bonus program, so there is little incentive for employees to push beyond what is expected. They also have not been adjusting salaries to accommodate inflation and other higher costs of living, such as housing.
I believe I have shown great value to this company in terms of what I provide in my role, and having a higher salary that compensates me fairly, not only to my peers but to the industry, would make me feel better.
