Not being in the US, not included in some of that activities that take place. Since starting, I don't get valuable time with my manager - I've highlighted issues and they've been swept under the carpet. Have asked for input and areas to focus/improvement & nothing. Now I feel I'm lagging behind.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I really enjoy working at SPS however my management team could do better to support me being in a different country. I don't feel I'm part of that team and somewhat disconnected. I want feedback and I don't really receive it. I send emails and they are not acknowledged. Let me be part of the team

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't think the company thinks where individuals reside and what entitlements there are, ie, medical entitlements in some countries vs other countries that don't.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
care about their management team also..if there is a problem address and support your team member. if you have staff overseas, support them - make them feel included

Being a remote work has its challenges so staying positive for myself and my team is important. Management encourage virtual events to have fun, stay motivated. Thats helped my team.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I like the fact that I work remotely but being told I need to go in when the rest of my team and extended team don't have to I don't feel is fair
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't feel the 5 point rating scale benefits the employees. A % is given per team then needs to be distributed, this disadvantages those that do deserve recognition. Being told to mark down employees because not enough are "partial meets" is not what we should be doing.
