What do you like best about the leadership team?

They're all very personable and I feel comfortable speaking with them if I meet with them/run into them in the hallway. They're very friendly and not intimidating!

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

I don't feel my onboarding experience was the best, as I was thrown to the wolves and handed accounts that hadn't been worked in months, or transferred opportunities with no notes or status updates. I felt extremely overwhelmed and unsupported during my first few months here, and often feel bored.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

I don't feel that I'm growing my skill set enough - in previous roles at other companies, I was able to be cross-trained in other departments or take on stretch projects. I don't have those same opportunities here, so if I'm not prospecting, I don't have things to work on.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

SPS very much has a "bro" culture and it's very male dominated. My team specifically is all men with the exception of me and one other woman, so it's very unwelcoming to me as I come from female dominated workplaces and it's been difficult to connect with a team of all men.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Base pay for Account Executives is extremely low compared to other companies in the Minneapolis area, as well as the tech industry. I understand that our commission is a good portion of our pay, but the low base pay is what causes me to look elsewhere for a position, as it's guaranteed income.
