Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

It has been great. I've worked many places across several industries, and I've never felt as happy or fulfilled as I have here. That said, there's always room for improvement. I'm happy to do that on my side to be a better employee, and SPS largely seems happy to do that for me and my peers.

Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

Nothing is perfect, and while I'd like to see more compensation and vertical growth for people across the board I'm still very happy here, and I intend to be here for a long time. I appreciate opportunities such as this to speak up. We are leaders, but we can always do better. Thank you. #LeadTheWay

What makes you most happy at work?

Again, the people and the culture.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

It's momentum and everyone's willingness to keep contributing to that momentum.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Many of us appreciate the culture and actively participate in keeping it's momentum.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They are humble and approachable, especially in comparison to corporate leadership teams at other companies.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They appear to listen to feedback and seem genuinely invested in the staff through the culture that's invested in.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The genuine investment people have in each other accompanied by a work hard play - hard kind of attitude.

What makes you most happy at work?

The people I work with and the opportunity for growth. It's a large company, but still largely has "start up" energy and optimism.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Everyone cares about each other and actively works to help each other whenever possible. We all pitch in to nurture the very valuable culture we've been able to achieve at SPS.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They recognize the value and impact of the culture fostered here. The journey to $1B won't be easy, but it's been a company wide effort to get to this far and will continue to be well beyond $1B.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The people. We are all for the most part happy to be here and show our care for one another. We actively invest in each other and want to see each other do well, succeed, and be happy.

What makes you most happy at work?

The culture and the people, as well as the company's trajectory and promise. It is terrifying seeing the amount of layoffs hitting the headlines recently, but SPS has powered through yet another consecutive quarter of growth with plans to double revenue in three years. I am grateful.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Undervalued is inaccurate. I would've preferred sticking with BCBS opposed to switching to UHC. As far as compensation goes, it is certainly competitive but we are the industry leaders as well as on the journey to $1B, it would be nice to lead the industry in compensation as well.

What are some of the best things about your team?

The people I get to work with are simply amazing. We know how special the environment we have is, and I feel we actively do our part to nurture it. Some of the best friends I have are people that I've met here, and I will always be grateful for that.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

There is little to no pay transparency and the career ladders are often ambiguous both vertically and laterally. SPS is better than many other companies and I'm grateful for that, but this is a global issue of systemic inequity between companies and employees where SPS can be a champion of change.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

This is not the right question. My value is not just monetary and I do feel a great deal of value from the environment in which I work, but feelings don't pay the bills. With rising pay gaps, inflation, and profit margins a company as progressive as SPS can do more. Transparent pay bands are a start
