What are some of the best things about your team?

People care about each other and are willing to help when others need help.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

SPS seems to have a disconnect with its employees. It operates somewhat archaically and does not seem excited to adapt and grow to accommodate employees. SPS does not offer benefits or pay that are above average, especially for the tech industry.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

SPS needs to figure out some internal procedures and improve internally before continuously expanding and buying new companies. SPS has high turnover and needs to find a way to retain talent so that teams are not understaffed and overstretched to get work done.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

SPS needs to take employees wishes into consideration. Remote work should be an option for all employees and if SPS wants employees to come into the office there should be a benefit when employees come in. Employees shouldn't have to spend their own money to get to the office and do their job.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

SPS pays very low compared to many tech companies, and it is hard to feel valued when tech companies often pay more and are more flexible with remote work and have better benefits. One thing that is frustrating is that we do not receive sick days and need to use PTO when sick.
