When I started at SPS, I was expecting just another job, without much insight into who the company was as a contractor. But once I got into the culture and my role, I found a place that I wanted to be a part of and I wanted to engage with to achieve the audacious goals we all have.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The option for ESPP is a great benefit. Otherwise, the company culture around flexibility and time off works with my lifestyle.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team works hard but also has a good time. They all are committed to achieving our goals and have a dedicated interest in the work we do.
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeing my team push out features and product enhancements that are well received. Especially when seemingly small efforts on our side can create huge positive impact for our users
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The executive team is engaged, informed, and cares about the company and it's people. I feel like they have a vision and ensure the people from top to bottom understand that vision in order to make it reality.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The flexibility and willingness to collaborate is the best positive aspect. We have teams that can butt heads around ownership or maintenance or priority but at the end of the day we are all aligned under the same goals so we will still always be a greater team.
