There have been a ton of amazing people that I have had the opportunity to work with at ZeroFox. But many of those people have either been let go or moved on to new opportunities. My time at ZeroFox can mostly be described as chaotic. I have had 7 different managers and have switched orgs 4 times
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
It's been a pleasure working here in an exciting industry like cyber security. My main issue has been the amount of change across my team and beyond. I have gone through over 10 different bosses during my 4 years at ZeroFox and I have seen the most impactful PMs leave over the past year.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Healthcare has strong coverage, I love the additional coverage provided to cover the deductible.
What makes you most happy at work?
Getting to see the massive progress of the people I work with every day.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like the direction we are going on the product side. Those that have been around ZeroFox for a while in leadership are very impressive, specifically with Russ, Caitlin and Mike Price.
What makes you most happy at work?
Working together with my team to produce work that has massive impacts across the org. I love seeing the hard work we put in get used in projects that span the org.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team has been able to survive and continue to successfully handle all of our responsibilities while having to deal with massive changes in leadership with several team lead changes, department head changes, and changes to org alignment.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is a strong culture of support with people across teams always willing to help support urgent asks for the betterment of the entire org. This is especially true with my team (PMM) in our workings with Mktg and Product.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The drive to always be of help to those around us. There are so many amazing workers at ZeroFox that are always willing to go the extra step. Without them we wouldn't have been able to survive this last organization realignment.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I think the initial decisions that were made to replace many of the original executive team were hindering our ability to make ZeroFox profitable. The new team has down a great job of cutting our costs, but has done so in a way that has hindered future progress.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team has overcome a ton of adversity between jumping from team to team (Mktg to Product to Mktg to Product), enormous leadership turnover (6 different team leads in the past 2 years), and yet we are still going strong and trying to build the team back to what it was prior to the Haveli purchase
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My team has seen a major overhaul with the team size dropping by over half including the loss of much of the team leadership. This has forced me to step up and take on a role as leader on the team. This has led to me essentially being acting director without the title or pay to go along with it.
