At times my experience has been very rewarding, with a feeling that personal and professional growth happened often. The feeling since going public has been that of just waiting to be excessed or RIF'd. That weighs heavy on your day to day positivity, and is felt by many around me similarly.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The willingness of colleagues to help when called upon, even when they don't have the time or the resources...they always find a way.
What makes you most happy at work?
Process, interaction, and the surprises that each new day will hold. At ZF you never know what the day will throw at you...and from who it will come.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I'm not sure if this pertains to the C-level or to the 100 or so members of the leadership team. Perhaps we would benefit as a company in knowing the differences.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is focused not only on bettering the company as a whole, but enriching our day to day lives, and setting performance challenges to help us level up in general. To increase our knowledge and experience so that we are ready for the next steps in our careers.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
ZF has a history of underpaying for employees when compared to those in similar positions in a given area. I'd feel better knowing that ZF finds me as or more valuable that some company that hasn't seen my work. I'd expect to be paid above the market standard if I'm a high performer.
