I work in a high traffic area, busy tourist area. It's tough because there are always tons of people in the store. I don't like it and doubt I'll be here much longer.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The pay is too low and I don't even know about stock options.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was pretty easy for me to get a job there. It's all about appearance.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Filling quotas is a horrible thing. It's annoying to the customers and causes dissension among the employees.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Customers see us as happy, pretty tools who fold underwear on a table a million hours a day. I guess it looks like we're happy.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Managers need to be kinder to employees and set realistic quotas if necessary. We're going as fast as we can to ring up people, help them on the floor and straighten out the clothing. It's a lot of work for little pay.
