Drug test - depends on the industry and client. I’ve never had one though I’ve had colleagues whose clients specifically require them. Background check - believe yes that’s standard part of hiring process
How's the work life balance at Accenture?
Not great, there is a constant churn of new employees that creates more work from seasoned employees

Always on. Don't come here if you don't like to work.

People are expected to anticipate and solve and prevent problems. If you don't have something to do, you are expected to find something, propose something, or ask for more work.

The environment does not support being proactive.
If i want to work from home occasionally is it OK or are people weird about that?
It really depends on the project. Some projects allow or even prefer work from home, others require people to be onsite always. If the project and client allow it, it is totally OK.
The jobs within my BU mostly required working at the client site.

Too many. Not enough men!

It is definitely a diverse place. I have never felt that there was an absence of women at the lower levels (analyst, consultant, manager) but there is definitely fewer women at the Senior manager, MD levels

It happens with leadership and teams interacting informally.

People have good vision & are interested in the latest and greatest technologies. My team has a voracious appetite for learning new things.

A person can have many different experiences at Accenture. It is less than formal as there are many ways to experience a career at Accenture. Ultimately it is based on the demands of the marketplace \ client needs.

Yes, for analysts. Once you move up, you are building an expertise in an area. If you are client facing, usually projects rotate themselves. Meaning, you switch clients and roles very 3-9 months on average.

Be prepared. Ask questions. Practice case studies if it is a case interview.
Be very prepared. Research the company, and research your potential colleagues. Read their LinkedIn bios and their social media posts. Most of all, prepare intelligent questions and express sincere enthusiasm for collaboration and teamwork.

They say there's no retaliation but that's not true.
Poor. No one wants to listen to constructive criticism. They paint you as having a negative attitude.
