Mr. Scott Bauhofer has been Senior Vice President of Eservices-Motoshop Technology Tools of Advance Auto Parts, Inc. since October 2015. Mr. Bauhofer served as a Senior Vice President of E-business at Advance Auto Parts Inc. He served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of E-Commerce at Advance Auto Parts Inc. since March 2009. Mr. Bauhofer responsibilities was include the development and operation of Advance Auto Parts' e-commerce sites for both DIY and Commercial customers. He was responsible for creative, content, operations, customer care, web analytics, paid search, search engine optimization and affiliate marketing for the websites. Prior to Advance, Mr. Bauhofer served as Vice President, Consumer Sales Strategy for Symantec Corporation, where he was responsible for developing sales strategies for the Norton product line. Prior to that, Mr. Bauhofer served as Senior Vice President of Direct Sales, Warranty Services for West Marine, where he was responsible for the Direct Sales business unit, web, call center, catalog and online marketing. Prior to West Marine, he served as Senior Vice President of The Box and Beyond of Gateway, Inc. until April 2006. He served as Senior Vice President, Direct of Gateway since May 2004 and oversaw all Web and consumer phone sales activities. Mr. Bauhofer joined Gateway from Best Buy, where he served as Senior Vice President of online stores. Since 1996, Mr. Bauhofer has worked in variety of roles at Best Buy and also as General Manager of their Online Stores, BestBuy.com. Mr. Bauhofer spent more than 20 years in consumer electronics and PC retailing with The Good Guys, MobilWorks and Home Express. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from San Francisco State University.
