Mr. Thomas B. Okray, also known as Tom, has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Advance Auto Parts, Inc. since October 31, 2016 and served as its as vice president of finance North American operations. Mr. Okray has more than 25 years of experience in finance, operations and supply chain to Advance Auto Parts. Mr. Okray served as a Vice President of Finance, Global Customer Fulfillment of Amazon.com, Inc. an Internet retailer, from January 2016 to October 2016 and as Vice President of Finance Operations of Amazon, from June 2015 to January 2016. He was the finance lead responsible for optimizing key elements of Amazon's Global Fulfillment Network, including transportation and supply chain, capacity and labor planning and cost and productivity of fulfillment centers. Prior to joining Amazon, he was employed by General Motors Company, a global automotive company, from July 1989 to June 2015, in a variety of finance and supply chain related roles, culminating in his position as Chief Financial Officer of Global Product Development, Purchasing & Supply Chain, from January 2010 to June 2015. He earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. He has also participated in a Transformational Leadership Program through Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
