Focused on the mission and solving employee's problems to help complete the mission
Transparent and communicative, they don't exist behind a wall that makes it difficult for the average employee to reach them at. I feel comfortable emailing if necessary.
They are involved and aware of the floor activities to an extent. They are looking out for the team and the company
I think it is too soon to form an opinion on the current leadership team as it is changing constantly.
My boss seeks to empower me to do my job effectively.
Recognizing the individuals who are carrying multiple roles and responsibilities across several job titles and discover ways to support them instead of burning them out.
Need to define a clear goal for the organization. A few years ago we were building aircraft for a specific cause, now we are just building at random based on small needs. Feels like we are circling without direction
At least in Tactical Systems, we need to have clear business objectives. Overselling ourselves, and the lack of structure and process make it a really hard place to be successful. The individual contributors (engineers, techs, etc.) are fantastic but the organization at the top breeds chaos.
running the company properly and understanding the needs of different groups in the compnay
Communication on what is coming and expectations. We seem to only communicate achievements after they happen and then furlongs. Those are the only times we have communications from top leadership.
Pay, health benefits and equity
Salary is highly competitive, and PTO is good, especially for this part of the country
It was the snacks to be honest, but now it is the Tuesday lunches, especially since they have been ordering gluten free for me. I also appreciate the Bevi water machine and Nespresso coffee machine.
Fully paid healthcare premium is nice
The pay is competitive and the health insurance benefits are as well.
I am severely underpaid. I was moved over from another position 9 months ago with a promise the pay would be corrected. I am pressured to work long hours (exceeded 40-hour weeks regularly) and am still paid at least 5 figures below the pay range of my position
i feel we need to be paid fairly if we are required to performed multiple tasks at the same time with tight deadlines, all without sacrificing quality. While this sometimes is possible it comes at the cost of us doing longer hrs away from our families and also not resting well to make dead lines.
Being promoted and receiving a raise - I am performing in multiple roles well above my title, and am tasking other engineers without any increase in pay
I feel undervalued because I cover a very wide range of responsibilities and taskings and the compensation doesnt reflect that. I have production personnal making more than I do to only perform 1 function where I have to support production projects to include flight testing and supplier visits
I feel like I am currently making roughly what I did at my last job. What I first need to do is have a discussion with my manager about this and see if there's anything he can do about it.
Skilled, focused and solution oriented
Everyone is smart, curious, and willing to help. Everyone is also not afraid to show that they don't know something and are willing to ask for help
They are each individually motivated and driven to get the job done to the best of their sight and ability. They are accountable and dependable.
They seem to know what they are doing and have experience doing it.
Everyone is dedicated to the program and works together to meet the team goals.
There are still many hold overs from the low assurance days, they make it hard to get excited about driving additional maturity and assurance into our systems. There is a general lack of experience with high mission assurance weapons systems.
Not open to new ideas or ways to improve the process. Just because the process works now, doesn't mean it cannot be improved upon
I find that my coworkers lack the competency required for us to be a high performing team
They are fine but that doesnt mean Inloom forward to seeing them
Accountability (does not exist today)
Everyone pulls for the same goals
We are making a positive impact for the warfighter, as well as trying to do some cutting edge engineering
The inspirational messages on the Calanders, the teamwork when problem solving, the open-door policies, and the art of transparency.
The dedication to working with excellence and general positive attitude even during stressful deadlines.
they like to get things done quickly
Move to Slack. It's the greatest communication platform for transparency.
reminds me of high school culture it is very cliquey and if your not in a group you feel like an outsider
Improve HR services, improve work environment, improve communication from leadership
Better communication and better short term planning. Currently we seem to work on a project and then let people go while we get more material for the new orders and then we are rushed because we have no people to build the product. By the time we hire the people, we let them go again because that
Feeling like part of a team.

Having the ability to do things that shape the company and warfighter's future
Being involved in a lot of different projects and tasks and always having something to do
When things are operating smoothly and our customers are at their peak happiness; We are ahead of schedule and under budget. If not those, just coming to work and engaging with customers and persons that are this motivated is enough to make me happy.
Work that actually has a meaningful impact to both my career development and the company's future.
Getting to see my work come to life with rapid prototyping.
incentives and pay increases will be nice so we don't have to worry about money, bill and second jobs
layoffs erode morale. Is there a financial report that is shared with employees? Is there an organizational chart? Every project is an impossible schedule. It's demoralizing to start a project and know you are already 3 months behind.
There are too many processes for certain groups, care it not put into contracts. Aevex does not have integrity and ONLY cares about the bottom line. Aevex has not spent extra money to make sure users have a good experience with their product.
Utilize my talents. Provide more constructive criticism rather than belittle me especially in front of coworkers.
Certain team members try to constantly one up their coworkers and sometimes makes a distressing work environment. I think managers having maybe once a month 1:1 sit down with their team could help air out problems or talk about goals without creating a hostile environment
