When things are operating smoothly and our customers are at their peak happiness; We are ahead of schedule and under budget. If not those, just coming to work and engaging with customers and persons that are this motivated is enough to make me happy.

Work that actually has a meaningful impact to both my career development and the company's future.

I am most happy at work when I feel purpose, impact, and connection.

The freedom to be creative

The most fulfilling aspects of work include collaboration with colleagues on internal AEVEX and Military teams. The positive environment and shared purpose within these groups contribute to a strong working dynamic.

drinking coffee and launching aircraft

The different changes that occur with the job

Doing a good job and the satisfaction of knowing my efforts matter.

The people I work beside are what keeps the mission both interesting and successful.

successful execution of assigned tasks

The comradery of hanging out with my coworkers

Seeing coworkers is the main benefit.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Travel is very important to me, yet opportunities for it are scarce in this role. The same is true for training; outside of position-specific requirements, there are few avenues for professional development. Leadership opportunities are also limited

incentives and pay increases will be nice so we don't have to worry about money, bill and second jobs

Employee appreciation for workers on the shop floor and eliminate the divide between office workers and shop floor employees.

It feels like walking into a slaughter house every day. We have watched some of the best and brightest being pulled from actively working to be discarded like trash. Most of them immediately after making mountains move to complete a mission.

Senior leadership continually creates conditions for program failure that require extraordinary effort to manage, mitigate, or correct. High degree of persistent task oversaturation forcing team to accept substandard solutions in order to maintain schedules and task volume/throughput. Fix = Hire

layoffs erode morale. Is there a financial report that is shared with employees? Is there an organizational chart? Every project is an impossible schedule. It's demoralizing to start a project and know you are already 3 months behind.

My overall pay is not allowing me to stay financially comfortable in life, im struggling.

It's just not as fun and positive as it used to be when I started here.

Consumed with go-go-go, instead of following the processes. AEVEX keeps laying people off - it sucks the life out of the vibe/culture. Usually, employees get raises every 12 months - doesn't happen here. Work/life balance disappeared during Atlas push. Employees were rewarded with loss of snacks.

I am burnt out due to the customer demands and penny-wise management of AEVEX.

There are too many processes for certain groups, care it not put into contracts. Aevex does not have integrity and ONLY cares about the bottom line. Aevex has not spent extra money to make sure users have a good experience with their product.

There's a lack of support personnel in all functions and the company has committed to overly ambitious project time lines. Adequate staffing is required and realistic project work given current resource capability needs more attention. Otherwise the RIF's will happen more frequent voluntarily.

My leadership has different standards and expectations for different team members. It can be improved by distributing work more evenly and applying expectations fairly.

It's mostly the culture of the managers which is the issue.

The lack of work with the older employees, they can retire or find other work.

It's work. I don't believe many people are "happy" going to work.

Not relevant to AEVEX necessarily as my day to day is supported a customer as a contractor from AEVEX, but I didn't see a skip option for the last few questions. I don't see a long term future in my role due to changes to the Air Force and FMS side for the platform we support.

I think our company and the growt is at a critical phase. The culture is degrading and we're continuously focused on the dollars at loyal employees expense.

Its not sitting on a beach earning twenty percent of the $640m in bearer bonds stolen from Nakatomi Plaza. Seriously, who loves coming to work when you can be sitting on a beach?

There is a lot of change occurring all at once and we are not paying enough attention to it. Leadership in not empowering people in their roles and unclear corporate strategy is driving division and confusion. I can't answer the question "what kind of company are we?"
