AEVEX puts the employee first and does their best to bring us together since most of the Growth team is remote.

The inspirational messages on the Calanders, the teamwork when problem solving, the open-door policies, and the art of transparency.
The culture is positive, welcoming, and mission-driven.
we all have a passion for what we do
Aevex has good rules to live by.
The ability to move up is clearly written and made known
we support each other when needed.
Desires to work hard, do the right thing, and support those that need it the most.
folks care about what we are doing
There is room for advancement
The PM team (for the most part) allows us to run our site how we see fit and handle things at the lowest possible level. We are trusted and able to do the job well, take care of each other, and do the right thing. Trust from leadership and great teammates is what makes being away from home easier
One of the most positive aspects of the culture and environment at our company is the strong sense of collaboration and support among team members.
The dedication to working with excellence and general positive attitude even during stressful deadlines.
The positive synergy and cohesion among the internal AEVEX and Military teams are real strengths of our culture. While overall teamwork is strong, we recognize the opportunity for some specific leadership functions, such as within the CIV team, to align more closely with our company's core values.
Company culture does not exist as a contractor. We are local to San Diego like the company but no one comes to visit us from Salona but maybe once a year.

Move to Slack. It's the greatest communication platform for transparency.
I dont work with anyone as a deployed personal, every one I work with is SNC
reminds me of high school culture it is very cliquey and if your not in a group you feel like an outsider
Improve HR services, improve work environment, improve communication from leadership
More team building events to improve morale
Better communication and better short term planning. Currently we seem to work on a project and then let people go while we get more material for the new orders and then we are rushed because we have no people to build the product. By the time we hire the people, we let them go again because that
Nothing about the company should change
provide members with company swag and/or invite others from other locations to company events
Better communication between SMX and AEVEX, have training available for AEVEX employees just like SMX employees.
Feeling like part of a team.
Our local work culture in our shop is amazing; however, the prime contractor (different company) is very disorganized and stressful to deal with. I wish our corporate level leadership could actually affect beneficial changes to our contract, but there's little to no movement on this.
Training should be mandatory for management. also, building up the team instead of hiring outside. We should be getting trained more instead of having to got out and pay for courses and wait to be reimbursed.
The friend groups between management and subordinates needs to cease. It is creating a miserable work environment for those who aren't involved in the friend groups. Those who stick to themselves are treated differently.
Aevex is good but ima contractor for another company
On the current contract that I am, it is definitely not the companies fault of the work environment or culture. The company is fantastic, is just the personnel we work with from outside of the company that makes working with them hard.
"too many chiefs and not enough Indians"; we have so many fat layers of PM (program manager, project manager, product manager). I confirm that there are many good of them, but many of them around me are just absolute waste. They don't know even basic of our jobs, but they hold the project moving for
Listen to your workers and help fix the issues at hand
It's not the AEVEX that is the issue, but some of the others we work with.
Regular payraises outside of inflation adjustments.
