American Red Cross Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

100% I'm thankful about what I have got

Healthcare probably is the best part.

Health benefits, life benefits, choices

The best benefit is out PTO. It increases with with years of service and tops out at about 8 weeks.

Their vacation days and maternity

I like having a 401K and I also like having vision and dental insurance

Review from Operations Dept

Paid on the high end and received yearly raises

Hourly pay is highest in CT

Review from Operations Dept

Pay rate is very competitive

The shift differential is fantastic

Review from Operations Dept

Generous paid time off as part of the benefits package, as well as paid holidays off.

Everything in a nut shell.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I am a volunteer. I do not even receive compensation for my fuel costs.

Fair market pay for the jobs we do and true work life balance and, true annual cost of living increases. Oh, and bring back the pension fund !

As mentioned before. If you aren’t not in a union they think of you as a number. At least with a union you are guaranteed raise

Raises are small and hard to come by, the pay is not worth the stress

Management does not care. They do not listen.

I am seeking employment, elsewhere. American Red Cross is very unappreciative.

Review from Operations Dept

I literally get life saving blood

Review from Operations Dept

To listen to what the employees need and want.

The benefits package presented did not match receipt

We work hard long hours, more pay would be nice considering how much were away from children
