I've had a bad experience as an employee. I went to my managers about some concerns that not only bothered me but other servers. That manager proceeded to let my coworker know what was said and who said it. It has created a very toxic work environment for me. Is that OK for a manager to do?
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The managers need to be more professional. Stop throwing their staff under the bus with other staff.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We are paid less than minimum wage. We do get tips however if you're working suring the day the foot traffick is slow and isn't worth your time.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
We should all be held to the same standard not pushing our work off on others then expecting the tips as well. Taking lonf breaks, having others do your job for you and getting away with it.
