The amount of work we do for asplundh is not really worth the pay. I mean come on, our local Walmart here in VA is offering 15 dollars to start out at. If you want people to stay working with the company, I highly recommend matching and bettering the pay.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The best thing is the cohesion.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Well the truth is that it is both positive and negative. There are days that make me want to quit, then there are days that I am excited to work.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Better pay really, I like the hours and what not. However with other places with less physically demand jobs offering more pay, 14.49 an hour is not worth it when I can obviously go somewhere else
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that my immediate team leader is down to earth and understanding. My General Foreman does make sure that we get what we need. If it weren't for my team leaders I would have quit sooner.
