
It depends on your manager, some micro manage more than others. A lot my co-workers work from home 90% of the time and all of our projects ate consistently delivered on time. As long as you don't slack off, management wont really care if you're at home. I've been promoted twice while working from home 90% of the time for the past 10 years.
Depends upon the area you work. Some orgs allow it while others will restrict. Same location but different orgs will have different rules, although rules are generally not codified they are simply implied.
You must work off the clock at the beginning and end of every shift when you drive your company vehicle to job site and back home, unpaid
You have to drive to your first customer on your own time.
