I really love my original team (before we were acquired by BEGiN) and feel like that's my work "family". I'm still getting used to BEGiN - it's not that I don't like the company, I'm just not used to working at a company so big and I'm still getting used to BEGiN's practices and culture.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We're encouraged to have fun and everyone is excited about what we're doing.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
One Medical. It's the easiest way I've had in a while to keep track of my appointments. I just wish they had more locations in east LA.
What makes you most happy at work?
Spending time with my direct teammates and others in my discipline. When my teammates and I solve a problem or pair program together and are on the same page - these moments make me feel like I belong and am valuable to my team.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We share the same goals & are cognizant of where we want the game to go. We're all enthusiastic about games, tech and education; even when we chat about outside-work things this enthusiasm shines through. Our boss is also super involved in our professional growth & happiness at work.
