I was quickly promoted to book lead and at first I liked it but then I realized it was because they were taking advantage of my initial work schedule. I basically am at that store every day. I max out my hours every week and I have no time to relax because I when I come back to work, I am scolded.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
For managers to accept BAM is not their store. That we should follow what BAM says not how this manager likes it over this one.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Always. I am constantly criticized for doing what the company wants instead of what my manager wants. I have too much stress for a job that only pays me $11 an hour.
