Feel like a number, not a person. Pay is horrible for how much the families are charged for care. Also no time given to plan or prep outside of nap time.

I have a great assistant teacher.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being a teacher and watching the kids learn and achieve.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
A refocus on the mission statement and making employees feel valued... financially and personally.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listening to it's employees and doing a better job of educating the kids instead of worrying about the bottom line. Which seems like it's just their paycheck since the teachers aren't paid well.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I make barely over minimum wage even with a degree. When they decided to raise the starting pay they needed to bump current employees to match. Now all the employees that have worked for the company for years are making the same as the 18 year old they hire off the street.
