Executive Bio

Mr. Thomas M. Jenkin, also known as Tom, has been Global President of Destination Markets at Caesars Entertainment Corporation (formerly, Harrah's Entertainment, Inc) since May 2013. Mr. Jenkin served as Treasurer of LV.COM, LLC until January 18, 2017. He served as the President of Operations at Caesars Entertainment Corporation (formerly, Harrah's Entertainment, Inc.) from December 2011 to May 2013. He served as the President of Western Division at Caesars Entertainment Corporation from January 2004 to December 2011 and also served as its Senior Vice President of Southern Nevada Operations from November 2002 to December 2003. Mr. Jenkin served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Southern Nevada, with oversight of Harrah's Las Vegas since 1998, Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino since 2001 and Harrah's Laughlin since November 2002. Mr. Jenkin was first named a General Manager in 1993. During his five years in Laughlin, Mr. Jenkin played an active role in many community-wide events and successfully chaired the Laughlin River Days and the Laughlin Desert challenge for two consecutive years. He joined in 1975 as a Fry Cook at Harrah's Las Vegas. Since 2004, he has been a Director of LV.COM, LLC (formerly Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority) and Las Vegas Events. He has been a Director at Enjoy S.A. since October 23, 2012. He served as Advisory Director of Superior Oil and Gas Co. from August 1, 2006 to August 2006. In 1996, Mr. Jenkin was appointed as Laughlin's Chamber of Commerce President and was re-elected in 1997. During this time, he also served on the executive board of the United Way of the Colorado River, the Mohave County Airport Authority, the Clark County Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Laughlin Tourism Committee. In 1996, he was named Laughlin's ???Citizen of the Year,??? the town's highest honor. Mr. Jenkin is an active Member of the Nevada Resort Association and is a Board Member of Olive Crest. Mr. Jenkin received the Chairman's Award, Harrah's highest employee award in 1991. He also received Harrah's Corporate Excellence Award, Harrah's highest executive award in 1996.
