How common is it to switch departments or teams at CASE?
In my experience as staff, no. I've applied to 21 positions in seven years and have yet to be offered any of them. Full disclosure, some didn't get past the salary phase as the budgeted amount was always less than what I currently make or wasn't worth the move even though all of the positions were a higher grade than I am currently.
