No job growth, no promotion opportunities. I clearly stated my career goals, but they were disregarded and I was pigeonholed into work I never wanted to do. Managers are so focused on their next promotions they don't do anything to help develop employees. Constant layoffs are a drain on everyone
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Layoffs, layoffs and more layoffs. There is constant fear and threat of job loss. It is not a productive environment.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Client decides if raises are given, no promotion opportunities on client accounts. People who come in from outside are brought in at higher pay and job grade to do the same work. Benefits are comparable to obamacare with VERY high deductibles and VERY high out of pocket maximums.
