If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at CompuCom?
Replace leadership. Transition culture back to focus on business development and a customer focus. Repair the terrible compensation plans and put back in place mechanisms to reward staff for achieving results.
Build a leadership that knows what they are doing. Communicate. Drive back toward business growth culture that rewards staff for contributing to those goals. Restore benefits and compensation models that have been taken away. Treat employees fairly and equitably. Actually care about your employees and not treat them like cattle.
What do people at CompuCom think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
We have a CEO? He has never addressed the company. I haven't seen any positive results from anything he has done. Not sure what his vision is...other than laying off people.
He is new and making a lot of assumptions and rarely communicates out to staff. Unknown mission and vision. Not sure what he is doing.
How's the vacation policy at CompuCom?
Poor and out of date.
Marginal/poor. Lower than I would expect in the industry and with a draconian policy to take away all vacation not used at the end of the year.
How would you describe your overall experience interviewing at CompuCom?
It was extremely easy.
How helpful was your Sales team when you were first hired at CompuCom?
I was on an island. Met and discovered co-workers on my own.
What skills do you need to be successful in the Sales department at CompuCom?
Being able to successfully navigate the anti-sales division with deal approvals.
How are the career growth opportunities on the Sales team at CompuCom?
Pretty regularly. They fire the managers and leadership about every year.

What is CompuCom's policy towards pets in the workplace?
No pets allowed. Unless you work from home. The. You can have a pet in your home office.
How are the career growth opportunities on the IT team at CompuCom?
What is career growth? Seriously, there is none.
How does CompuCom measure success and growth in the IT department?
Various certifications help but, overall, there is no mesument. There is usually no advancement. Outside resources are used to fill upper positions while inside sources are rarely ever used. Now that CompuCom has been baught out by anot her intity other than an investment firm, this may change in time.
How are layoffs handled in the Sales department at CompuCom?
Frequently happen to thin the b & c players out. You have 1 year to prove yourself.

General computer knowledge and troubleshooting.

The benefits are ok. Paid time off is decent.

Yes, both.

Not helpful at all. The IT Team is more overhead than it is worth.

I was Laid Off on April 28th.

It comes and goes.

Hard working with what little tools they have.

The leadership only care about themselves and their jobs. They do not care about any issues that have to do with those beneath them.

I work in the field and do not have an office.
What are your coworkers at CompuCom like?
Hard workers trying to get the job done.
