I was proud to work for BNYM. However, when Computershare bought out share owner services, it turned into a revolving door and zoo. They hired bodies not people and I think many of them literally crawled out from under rocks.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
I never really interviewed with Computershare. I started as a temp though BNYM and was a casualty of the buy out.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
They need to find a better process for hiring and value employees that have been there for many years and reward their experience.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Most co-workers are just bodies to fill seats. They are brought in by masses through a temp service and then cut loose with sensitive information.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The company was good to work for before Computershare bought it. People are now treated like cattle and used like toilet paper. New management is crucial and promotions need to be based on merit.
