Not sure how it is being a shift manager, but as a regular crew member we get little to no benefits.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The executive team seems to care more about having a personal relationship with the crew members than the general managers.
What makes you most happy at work?
It's best when the work day is not too fast but not too slow, keeps everyone in a good and friendly mood.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They're alright. Some of them are easier to talk to than others, and some of them definitely take rheir job more or less seriously than others, but overall we get the job done.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Depending on the manager, they will let you know ehen you're doing a good job. They've also started a "kudos" board, where they'll write little compliments on cards for crew members and post them on a bulletin board.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Would love to have aome benefits as a crew member. I know the shift managers get some benefits but as a crew member we get nothing unfortunately. I do like that we are being paid a bit more than minimum wage, though.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I actually went in randomly one day to grab a blizzard for my dad, and I decided on a whim to ask if they were hiring. The manager said that she actually had time for an interview right in that moment, so we had an interview a couple minutes later and I got the job the very next day.
