I have seen a heavy amount of disorder and verbal abuse stemming from the regional manager. The maintenance and hygiene are poor. Toilets don't flush properly and nobody wants to be there. With that said, the pros... there aren't any. Half off a burger on your break and nothing else. Disparaging.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was an in person interview, face to face, and they were cosiderate of the days I wanted. It was a standard interview, but for me, simpler is sometimes better.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There are absolutely no benefits given at our establishment other than half off of a meal during your workshift break. There is also a large amount of disorder and verbal abuse.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Most of my coworkers are wonderful people who bring a joy that makes the job manageable. We all understand that there's work to be done and get it done. Of course everyone has their strengths and weaknesses though. Overall they are promising individuals.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The most positive aspect would stem from working with honest people who bring respect into the workplace. Understanding is key to communication. If there is no respect between coworkers, then there is no team. Not everyone is perfect, but that's no exception for poor work ethics.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
A new regional manager is needed to create a proper order of business within the workplace. Nobody should be reprimanded for doing what they were told to do. That creates a heavy negativity. On top of that, people shouldn't be trained to do things differently. Everyone should train the same way.
What makes you most happy at work?
Cooking food and preparing meals for people to enjoy. Every single burger I make, I make for myself. With that, I recieve joy knowing that maybe someone will come back because they liked that burger more than any other. Granted I'm limited in any changes, I still make each one the best I can.
