Overall it was a great experience. I was able to prove to myself I could be manager which helped build my self esteem back up. My boss was a great influence and the employee became good friends, too.

They all have a great sense of humor.
What makes you most happy at work?
Seei the enjoyment customers get when I hand them their ice cream upside down.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Being able to receive any kind of benefits would be great, especially health insurance.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The customers mostly. I enjoy serving ice cream to customers of all ages. I live how the young ones get so excited and the older ones reminisce.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was very quick. I applied and the next day got a call to set up an interview for the next day. Then I was hired in the spot.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are very supportive and understanding when it comes to juggling a work/life balance. I was also fast tracked to manager which was really nice since I was starting over.
