The employees at my facility feel unappreciated and under paid. They are adding more responsibilities to teammates daily due to a lot of people quitting. All while paying them the bear minimum and then hiring travel PCTs and RNs for 3x times the amount they're paying the regular staff.

Have the CEO actually visit facilities and see the work we do.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work well together and we get the job done every single time. We actually care about the patients. And it hurts to see these travel PCTs and RNs that are being paid 3x as much as us. Come in clock in and out .
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Because we work short staffed all the time picking up the slack because people are just not showing up to work. And do we even get a thank you no. Being actually paid for the work we do. The Clinical staff does it all when our main focus should be based on patient care.
