It's been a great first 7 months. It was a steep learning curve however the people were patient and taught me what I need to know to get started.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I like it. I see improvement everyday (literally) Great people, great challenges. A bit too dynamic; too much attrition and people shifting roles. We recently brough in a bunch of new people and consultants and there's been announcements but no real comms on their charter (?)
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Base, VC and Benefits are all good.
What makes you most happy at work?
Delivering good working software. Collaborating and turning data into knowledge

They deliver a consistent strategic narrative. They share results both good and bad.

The teamwork. The company goals are clear and we all pull together nicely

Delivering code that works and drives revenue. Developing systems that drive connectivity between centers and 3rd parties

The drive and vision. We need additional stability. I am optimistic that the recent changes are for the better.

We all share knowledge. We understand 100% that in order to be successful we must all work together towards our common goals

Drive! They love the tech and the challenges the pet industry offers. They are always eager to help and like the start-up mentality.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Fair market value. I love my job but I feel like I'm leaving money on the table. If I make a move that will be why (I'm in technically)
