My overall experience is good. The company could have more programs to recognize and reward center staff instead of patting each other on the back for corporate growth.

Good days when everyone is getting along and we are helping pets and their families.

Team members usually get along well and enjoy their work even when it is overwhelming. Everyone is willing to help each other.

We have a close team who work well together and always willing to help each other. If someone is feeling troubled or close to burning out, others will notice and step up to help.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The leaders of the company put more emphasis on growing the company and acquiring new locations than keeping the current locations and current employees working. We talk about culture and work/life balance, but it is just talk. Nobody really cares that the front-line team is overworked and underpaid
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
This position can get overwhelming at times trying to be the go-between for the staff and corporate. It is not always possible to meet the needs of everyone. There are too many difficult clients that can get very rude and impossible to please. Numerous complaints regarding high prices.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The company values numbers and growth but does little for the people who are working hard to get those numbers. Raises are difficult to get even when our numbers are great and bonuses are almost impossible. The bonus structure changes frequently and makes it difficult to work toward those goals.
