Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

Overall by experience has been positive aside from when my previous facility was closing down. Communication between the staff and higher ups during the process was very vague.

Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

I'm honestly surprised that this survey went out. From how leadership treats on the floor employees is opposite of the questions asked in this. I've heard HRBP comment on HIPPA protected subjects, corporate leaders get people fired for personal reasons, it's a very sad to see.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Dr. Miracle is very involved with helping her veterinary staff progress in their education and careers. Awesome teacher as well! Nikkita ensures a work life balance. She is very communicable whenever there is an issue that needs to be discussed.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I have never received a raise since working here (it has been multiple years.) Our team is constantly berated by our manager during meetings. Passive aggressive comments are given about how we don't do our job, but there is no help constructive criticism.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Be clear about intentions. We are told that culture, employee satisfaction, retention and animal care/safety are of utmost importance. That couldn't be further from the truth. We are constantly told to cut labor to where being safe or following the pet program is impossible. Managers are treated ter

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Being treated with respect and my leaders trusting me and my experience. Getting a raise ever would be nice. But years will go by without any raise or bonus. After seeing that our vet techs were allotted $10 for vet tech week when they are notoriously underpaid was atrocious.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The team in the centers. The culture comes from the employees on the floor. Corporate has literally no idea how to foster a positive culture. It's extremely disheartening how little the leaders of the company care about the people on the ground floor. At least the doctors getting treated well.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Treating their team like actual people. I do not receive any feedback or help unless it is negative. Jobs are threatened every week. I feel my RVD does not care to speak with me and my manager and above don't trust my abilities and often assume the worse. The leadership team could also use some HR
