Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

It has been a roller coaster, I think the acquisition was definitely rocky and our RM and other upper level management were just not understanding us and our unique issues. I would love for corporate to consider that we may be one pack but each center is still unique and we should celebrate that.

What makes you most happy at work?

The dogs, and getting to create fun events with my staff.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I like the bonuses, i dont really understand how they work or when we get them but when I do its great!

What are some of the best things about your team?

I love the willingness to come together and to help when needed, and the dedication and true love for the animals on site.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I love the culture of care at our company and being able to understand each others struggles and triumphs and the general feeling of support.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The sense of community and understanding we have of one another, and the sense that we all have the same goal which is to take care our pet guests!

What makes you most happy at work?

I love when I get to teach my staff something new, and I love when I get to interact with pet parents and tell them all about how their kiddo is doing.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We are very close knit and fun loving, which helps keep the days light. I also love the leadership team we have built, as I know if I have to be out my team can handle things smoothly.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I feel very supported by my leadership team and like how i can be open and honest with them. I feel that they care a lot about mine and my staffs mental health which is very important to us.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Listening to GMs about their struggles within their center and taking into consideration that our lives are ever changing and many of us have never worked in a corporate environment and so far the experience has been lacking. Also facility fixes are a nightmare to get done.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I feel that instead of giving scheduled appropriate raises we are just pushed back with pizza instead of giving us simple deserved increases. Especially for some of us who have now been with DP for over 2 years and haven't seen a single rate increase even though our center is doing extremely well.
