Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

My team members are fantastic, all extremely smart and talented. Unfortunately there is total lack of awareness from the top about workload and how we are all being crushed by the weight and the pressure. There has been a massive amount of turnover in my team over the last year because of this issue

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Over worked and undervalued and underpaid

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The culture among my teammates is strong - we create good morale amongst each other because that is not something we receive from leadership.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Would love to see the leadership team focus more on their employees and building a supportive culture rather than pushing employees do whatever it takes to meet outrageous goals, regardless of the the pressures placed upon them

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Simple understanding about the ratio of work to employees. There has been a lot of turnover and a lot of layoffs. Everything seems driven by money with no consideration for the team and employees workload/mental health/work/life balance. Everyone is overwhelmed with the amount of work and pace.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

My team is expected to produce massive amounts of work at the drop of a hat regardless of current workload. I do not feel valued as a person, but just seen as a machine. Concrete paths to promotion and end of year merit/cost-of-living increase would be helpful.

What are some of the best things about your team?

They are a group of highly talented, driven professionals who all look out for each other. This is job is extremely challenging and while we all feel undervalued, we are comforted by the fact that we have each other, we all enjoy each others company, and are in it together.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

The same problem continues to persist. We are all doing everything we can to keep up with current workload but being asked daily to "push harder". It isn't an issue of prioritization because everything is always a top priority, its a lack of understanding from the top that there is too much work.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I feel under valued because I am consistently asked to meet insane deadlines regardless of the pressures its puts on me and how it effects my mental health. Myself and my team are often asked to work outside of our roles and responsibilities and take on a much larger work load than a person can do
