The animals, the team, and watching my center grow via the avenues I create.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They consistently ask for feedback from the staff and when feedback is given, they take it into consideration. We know we are heard.
What are some of the best things about your team?
As the GM, my team is crafted and molded by me. I love the fact that they all respect me and take my feelings into consideration. They all have each other's backs and they're all passionate about this job.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I work too many hours to be paid salary. As a GM, I'm expected to cover shifts when nobody else can, stay late when nobody else can, etc. I work extra hours to be able to attend the mandatory meetings per my RM, and I even attend these meetings on my day off. I need compensation for the extra work.
