Seems to get somewhat better then worse? We have so many areas of improvement and just simply not enough staff to do the jobs. If we had enough people, that can be properly trained with the intention that they stay, we could have something really nice. This place has so much potential.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being with the dogs and being able to have breaks/time away from them. I get excited to do other jobs than just standing in groups with dogs. I enjoy cleaning and maintaining organization throughout the building
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Some people dont let the chaos get to them. They are positive and seldom want to create an issue. Sometimes we as a team are able to laugh at how chaotic things are and simply enjoy some comic relief.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership skills, time management, problem solving, practice for good business and customer service. We deny dogs when we have room. Communication could improve too. Supervisors dont double check themselves or have system to mitigate human error in prepping food.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
We could start by hiring people that WANT to be apart of a team and work. That are dependable and can have a great time! If we improve on our leadership the team morale can improve as a whole.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have seen new hires get paid more than me when Ive been with this company for years now. Or even better they get bonuses. I get nothing extra when I've trained people, never call in, not late, and I'm a hard worker. I feel as though my performance is not adequately evaluated for pay this job.
