There are a few people that have been here the longest, we all work really well together and are passionate about the pets and how best to care for them.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
More ground-level support, better pay, better work life balance. If the center employees are not feeling appreciated and that they are being paid a fair living wage, they are not going to care about corporate goals, missions, etc.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Feels like the company is just concerned about profits, and not about the people who make them all the money, or the animals. Wages are not competitive for the area, and thus do not attract lasting or qualified staff.
