Its fine but it feels as if a lot of pressure is placed on the employees to ask for raises and try to navigate they're way up without much guidence on how to move up. Management at gagnons doesn't help much, and employees are treated as despensable
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel as if the general manager at gagnons doesnt value any of the employees and believes them to be despensible, Joan is not constructive in her leadership and only harshly reprimands thise who have made or mistake or she believes to be at fault.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
General manager needs to change at gagnons, Joan doesnt lead very well, nor does she do a good job at making it easier for others to effectivily do there job or feel enclined to work under her. Lately she has resorted to yelling at daycare over an issue that had already been resolved.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Fair compensation and having regular reviews to determine whether an employee is ready for a raise, as its always up to us to come forward and ask for one, rather then the company acknowledging our hard work and ability to get better at our job by meeting us half way with reviews to show were valued
