What makes you most happy at work?

Seeing the regular customers (certain individual dogs) that truly seem to be getting something positive out of their visits and playtimes (as compared to just being there because their owners have to do SOMETHING with them during vacation).

What are some of the best things about your team?

Everyone works hard and is transparent about solving issues and improving things. Most bring a positive attitude, but not in a fake way- we're able to laugh together while also taking our responsibilities seriously. On busy, stressful days, these interactions keep morale up.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The right people are in charge at my location (although I'm not sure if the same applies to levels beyond my location like regional management or executives). They are responsible, dedicated people who work as hard as those under them. They truly care about the animals.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

In terms of management at the location, I feel that they are very dedicated to the success of the team and the care of the pets. On the regional level, however, it isn't as clear to me that that's the case. The management works their hardest in spite of the limitations inflicted by higher levels.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

1) I have only ever gotten raises when the minimum raise is increased, despite being told I am an exemplary employee. 2) The cost of living in my area is higher than my salary, and I and most of my fellow employees are dependent on another person (parents, partner, etc.) to live in the area.
