Mr. Michael A. Witynski, also known as Mike, has been the Chief Operating Officer of Dollar Tree, Inc. since August 2015 and its President since June 9, 2017. Mr. Witynski served as Senior Vice President of Stores since joining Dollar Tree in 2010. He served as Group Vice President of Private Brands of SUPERVALU Inc. He served as Group Vice President of Own Brands at Shaw's Supermarkets and oversaw the strategic operations of Shaw's Supermarkets line of private label products. He served as President of Shaw's Osco and Star Market at Shaw's Supermarkets, Inc. since July 2009. Mr. Witynski first joined SUPERVALU in 1990 as a retail business consultant in Des Moines, Iowa and has since worked in positions of increasing responsibility, including director positions in operations, merchandising, procurement. Mr. Witynski was appointed as Vice President of SUPERVALU National Merchandising in 2002 and was responsible for leveraging synergies in procurement and category management across eight retail companies.
